Good joke
I actually ordered this for myself as I really like the design but also for the joke that goes with it. I’m not sure if the supermarket makes these or if they’re someone else’s playing the pun, either way the supermarket in question does it with enough products, so why can’t someone else eh?The cup fairly decent both in quality and the size of capacity, it’s no different than other mugs I use. It’s also easy to clean and so far no stains to report, plus unlike others I’ve had in the past, my brews stay warm and don’t cool too quickly.

Marvellous mug
Got this to give to a relative as a funny gift.The design of this mug is hilarious. It has two old people silhouettes on it and the design is reminiscent of a well know super market. You can choose a single male or single female design too but I got the one with both on as I think it’s funnier and you can give it to a male or female friend then too!The mug is your standard mug size and it feels sturdy and well made. Really nicely made and hilarious design.Overall, I’m really happy with this mug. The design is brilliant and really funny and the mug is quality. A funny gift for an old friend.

clear print and dishwasher safe
I picked this mug up as a bit of tongue in cheek humor for my dad, He recognized the colors of a certain supermarket and found the slogan amusing. The mug is thick ceramic and so far has the print has resisted a couple of cycles in the dishwasher well. Overall a quality mug that is sure to get a laugh.

You can’t have too many mugs and this one has it’s OLDI logo on each side.If anyone in your family has a significant milestone birthday coming up I would recommend it. A useful joke!

Play on word design based on a well known supermarket
Mildly amusing mug intended to gift to an older person or couple, this inspired design is based around the logo of a well known supermarket with the play on words “Oldi” as the name. Arrives well packaged and in perfect condition, good quality mug with a well printed design, inexpensive at £8.99 (at the time of review), the relevance is accurate as i will be giving this to my in laws that coincidentally like to shop at the well known supermarket.

Fun mug
This is a white ceramic mug. It’s what I call a “standard” mug size, and the USP here is that it’s “oldi” instead of “Aldi”, making this particularly suitable as a gift for somebody who is over 60, or retiring. (I suppose you could even get away with giving it to somebody as a 40th?)There’s not much more to say really…..it’s exactly what it is. The image is on both sides of the mug and it’s described as dishwasher safe however I find that any patterned mugs tend to fade and scratch over time, so maybe better to hand wash this? I do feel it’s a bit pricey at £9 but it is a fun item and a great novelty gift when you’re stuck for a gift idea.

A bit of fun
Funny father’s Day gift or birthday just a basic white cup with a transfer on it however the transfer seems fairly good quality it does say it is dishwasher safe as this is going to be a gift I’ll have to wait to update that but my Father-in-Law does have a dishwasher so we’ll find out.

Good Quality and Fun Mug
My son wanted to get his dad something funny for his birthday and this went down a charm and got a good laugh.The 2 sided print is clear, the mug while not massive is still a good size for morning coffee or a spot of tea, and best of all, it’s both dishwasher and microwave safe. It’s very solidly made too and the handle is great.It’s just a very well made mug that will get a lot of use. Would definitely recommend for anyone with a good sense of humour!

Good clear design
This Oldi joke mug comes well packaged and is a decent quality mug at an average size for a coffee or cup of tea that you would expect and has the design on it which is very clear and bold which washes well with no fading or scratching as of yet.This is dishwasher and microwave safe and would make a great joke gift or as an extra for anyone but especially those who like to shop in Aldi. Amusing. Seems good quality but a bit expensive at £9.
Ordered this as an additional joke birthday present for a slightly older relative but decided to keep it for myself. Will be used for amusement (at least my amusement!) when he or older friends visit.It seems to be a decent quality standard mug and the printing is good though on the one I received it is slightly squint on one side. Not bad, and I would not have sent it back even if I had paid for it rather than obtaining via amazon Vine but if selecting in a shop I’d have chosen another.At £8.99 it’s rather expensive but probably worth it if you like the joke.
